3. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA)

• At MarketLogic, we understand the importance of protecting children’s privacy, especially in an online environment. For this reason, our digital strategies, website, social media and other online activities are not designed or directed at children under 14 years of age. MarketLogic does not knowingly collect personal data from minors, as defined by the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If we become aware that personal data collected belongs to a minor, we will take appropriate measures to remove and delete it as soon as possible.

4. Purposes of Data Collection

  • Rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data.

  To exercise your rights as a data subject, you must send an email to our team at it@mymarketlogic.com with the reference “Personal Data Protection.” You should specify the details and attach a document proving your identity. Please indicate the reasons for your request.
  Should you need to exercise your rights through a representative, they must present a notarized power of attorney certifying their authority, as well as an official document proving their identity.

8. Data Security

• We implement both technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against loss, theft, misuse, and unauthorized access. The data we collect is maintained on a HubSpot platform which maintains a Privacy Shield certification with the U.S. Department of Commerce to ensure adequate protection is in place when transferring personal data.

  No method of transmission over the internet is or method of electronic transmission and storage of personal data is entirely secure. We cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you provide to us, and you do so at your own risk. If you believe your personal data has been compromised, please contact us using the information provided in Section 1.

  Should we learn of a security system breach, we will inform you and the authorities of the occurrence of the breach in accordance with applicable law.

9. Data Retention

• Personal data stored, used, or transmitted will remain in MarketLogic’s, and our subsidiaries, database for as long as deemed necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy. For clients, former clients, potential clients, employees, third party service providers, and suppliers of MarketLogic, their personal data related to the fulfillment or execution of their commercial relationship will be retained for a period of time as deemed necessary by applicable law.

10. Opting Out from Marketing Communications

• Should at any time you desire to stop receiving marketing communications from MarketLogic, you may unsubscribe at any time following the instructions contained within the email or by sending an email to the address provided in Section 1 of this policy.

  After you opt out of marketing communications from us, you will no longer receive marketing emails; however, you may continue to receive messages from us during the duration of time it takes for us to fulfill your request. These emails may include information on your requests for products, services, support, or other legitimate business reasons to contact you.

11. Consent, Changes, and Updates to this Policy

• By providing us with your personal data, you consent to its processing in accordance with the provisions of this privacy policy.
• We reserve the right to revise and make modifications to this privacy policy, and should that happen, we will update and post the changes on this website so our visitors and clients are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it.

12. California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)
