Users can now enhance their security policies by patching unique software titles applicable to their IT environments.
RMM software provider Pulseway on Thursday released a two-part announcement: one piece regarding support for custom third-party patch management titles, the other details of the company’s stellar 2019 growth.
Security services was a significant area of focus area for Pulseway last year, which included the release of its Third Party Management Engine. Since the initial launch of 18 native third-party titles, Pulseway added more than 60 popular titles to its library throughout 2019.
With the new addition of Custom Third Party Software Titles Patching, internal IT departments and MSPs can customize their security and patching practices by adding unique software titles that are applicable to their own IT environments. Users are able to add a URL to the application installer of their custom title and add some rule definitions, and the third-party application will be added to the list for patching automation.
“Pulseway’s Patch Management Engine was a huge success through 2019 as part of our security-centric approach …,” said Marius Mihalec, founder and CEO of Pulseway. “Our team kept on delivering new titles, listening to our customers requests. Now, Pulseway supports more than 60 titles and we plan to deliver even more in 2020. Pulseway has always aimed to enable our clients to choose and deliver services and features required for their business continuity — that’s why support for custom titles is an important release for Pulseway Patch Management Engine as it will enable MSPs to customise their patch policies and bring security of their clients to a new level.”
In terms of growth last year, Pulseway reported more than 30% growth in customers, acquiring 1,300 business partners and creating approximately 24,000 personal accounts during that time. Pulseway is now servicing approximately 6,000 businesses and MSPs worldwide.
Pulseway also touts its milestones in product innovation by introducing critical and highly demanded features in 2019, including:
“2019 [was] a fantastic year for Pulseway in terms of product innovation and customer growth — and by delivering IT solutions organizations need and want,” said Mihalec. “I am very pleased to announce that Pulseway will be supporting custom third-party software titles patching as a part of our patch management engine enabling users to effortlessly manage and secure all of their systems and application within the premises of one RMM solution.”
