Palo Alto Networks Appoints Channel Leader for EMEA, LATAM

Palo Alto Networks has named Patricia Murphy its new VP ecosystems, partners and strategic alliances for EMEA and LATAM.

In this role, Murphy will lead the company‘s channel across those regions. She will also serve as a key member of EMEA & LATAM CEO Helmut Reisinger’s executive team.

“I am delighted to welcome Patricia to our leadership team,” said Reisinger. “At this critical time for cybersecurity and digital transformation, we are accelerating Palo Alto Networks’ robust business to meet customers’ needs with deep partnerships across our regions.

Reisinger cited Murphy’s in-depth understanding of the partner landscape of partners.

“Service providers, global system integrators and industrial partners will benefit our growth ambitions and our customers,” Reisinger said.

They will also “help strengthen Palo Alto Networks’ position as the cybersecurity partner of choice.”

Experience

Murphy brings more than 25 years of experience in the technology industry. She joins from Apple in France, where she was executive managing director enterprise. During her tenure, Murphy steered Apple France into a digital transformation partner with a focused approach on developing a strategic ecosystem of VARs, SPs, SIs and MSPs.

In her new job, Murphy will look to drive engagement with partners, including MSSPs. The vendor said it wants to enhance its representation of those key partners and ensure “a diverse and high-performing ecosystem.”

Murphy said she was “thrilled to join Palo Alto Networks at such an exciting time for the business.”

“Together with the EMEA & LATAM teams, we will develop strategic relationships across the ecosystem landscape to drive scale and greatly benefit customers,” she said.

In May, Palo Alto and Deloitte announced they had expanded their strategic alliance to offer managed security services to their shared U.S. clients. That means Palo Alto Networks’ cybersecurity technology portfolio is now available in outcome-based, managed offerings from Deloitte.
