Marcelo Castro – Fundador y CEO

As Founder of MarketLogic, Marcelo brings over 20 years of experience in international business, including 10 years of Marketing strategic development and tactical execution throughout the Americas in a vast array of verticals such as consumer, technology and entertainment. During his career at MarketLogic he had the honor of working for global companies such as Apple Latin America, Sony Ericsson, HBO Group, General Mills, Samsung, Sharp Electronics and Christian Dior, among others.

As CEO, Marcelo is responsible for the global strategy and new business development strategy for the firm.

Before launching MarketLogic, Marcelo founded XL Worldwide, a premium transport and logistics firm specialized in Latin America and the Caribbean and a key component of MarketLogic’s competitive advantage.

Marcelo Castro holds an MBA from the University of Florida. He lives in Pembroke Pines, FL with his wife and three kids.

Hernán Braña – Director and Partner

As Director and Partner of MarketLogic, Hernán is responsible for overseeing the account services team based in Miami.  He is also charged with creative direction, planning and strategy for the multinational accounts.

Hernán brings over 20 years of experience in the advertising industry.  Since joining MarketLogic he is credited with the development of channel programs for American Express. He also had the opportunity to spearhead the advertising campaign for Sony’s Handycam. Some of his current client experience includes Samsung, MasterCard, Symantec, Apple and Warner Channel.

Prior to joining MarketLogic, Hernán held the post of Partner at Publimen, an advertising agency in Buenos Aires Argentina.  Currently he continues to work with Publimen, now serving as the local creative agency for many of MarketLogic’s regional clients with in country needs in Argentina.

Hernán Braña earned a Juris Doctoral Degree from La Universidad del Belgrano.  He also earned a Master’s Degree in Marketing Communications from La Universidad de Ciencias Sociales Empresariales.  He currently serves as President of the Asociación Latinoamericana de Agencias de Publicidad.   Hernán is also a member of the Argentine Marketing Association.  He resides  in Miami Beach with his wife and daughter.

Joel Velez – Senior Account Executive

As Senior Account Executive, Joel brings over 8 years of experience developing integrated marketing communication campaigns for market leaders such as Pfizer, Aricept, Zyrtec, Viagra, Energizer, Banana Boat, VO5, St. Ives, Purina and Revlon.

Since joining our team, Joel has been in charge of planning and execution of the marketing strategies that MarketLogic developed for Samsung Mobile in Central America and the Caribbean.

Joel holds an MBA with a concentration in Marketing from the University of Phoenix and post-graduate studies in U.S. Hispanic Marketing Communications from Florida State University.

Germán Villalobos – Senior Account Executive

As Senior Account Executive, Germán manages project planning and execution of all marketing activities from development to delivery.

Germán is an original member of our team and has had the opportunity to work in all areas of our business; from Traffic to Account Management.

Throughout his tenure he has managed accounts such as Lexmark, Apple, Sony Ericsson, Sharp, Palm, Microsoft and Dior, among others.

Before MarketLogic, Germán worked as Communications specialist at IBM, obtaining several important awards and recognitions.

German is an Industrial Administration graduate from the Instituto Universitario de Tecnología Industrial Rodolfo Roelo Arismendi (IUTIRLA) in Caracas, Venezuela, and holds a degree in Banking and Finance from the same institution. Lastly, he holds a degree in Literature from Florida International University (FIU).

Vivian Sanchez – Account Executive

Vivian has over 16 years of experience in the advertising field. She started her career as media planner but it was when she was transferred to the account management team that she found her true passion, helping market leaders build their brands in Latin America.

Vivian worked as Account Executive for brands such as Visa International Latin America, Budget Rent a Car, Alamo, Meliá Hotel & Resorts, Dell and Gillette (U.S. Hispanic), among others.

She joined MarketLogic in 2009, to offer her experience in managing two divisions at Samsung Electronics, and coordinate incentive programs for MasterCard Latin America.

Vivian attended Queens Collegue in New York, and lives in Miami with her family.

Irene Lezama – Account Executive

Irene has been part of our team since 2007. She holds a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from Florida International University (FIU).

Her experience includes managing accounts such as Samsung, Symantec, Sony Ericsson, Marriott and RIM.

Irene enjoys the interaction with her clients, and her focus is centered in providing strategic and tactical support for each of them.

Her next challenge is to pursue her MBA degree.

Irene was born and lives in Miami with her family.

Patricia Ysern – Account Executive – Promotionals

Serving as the Promotions Dept A.E. Patty is responsible for presenting our clients with promotional and incentive ideas that engage our target audience and achieve results.

Before Marketlogic she has had the opportunity to collaborate in product development for multi-national brands such as IDT Telecom, Mas-Musica Teve and Trans-Cash. Patty’s expertise is the product of a range of disciplines including media planning, account management, integrated marketing.  Throughout the past decade Patty has experienced working in both the client and agency side. Her fascination for new promotional concepts is what brings her to MarketLogic.

When Patty is not at ML she enjoys the great outdoors with her husband, tennis, skiing and biking. And when she can squeeze in more free time she is trying to master windsurfing.

Noly DeFrias –  Studio Manager

As Studio Manager, Noly is responsible for organizing and distributing tasks within her department; quality control and making sure that our customers’ guidelines are being followed. She is also in charge of technical support and managing our servers.

Noly has over 15 years of experience in design, packaging, pre-press, traffic and all aspects of printing in general.

Before joining MarketLogic, she was Studio and Traffic Manager for other important agencies in Miami, manager at a printer and graphic designer for several firms.

Noly graduated in Business Administration from City College Miami, and as Graphic Designer from Miami Dade College. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Florida Atlantic University (FAU). She lives in Miami Lakes with her partner, family and thousands of records.

Margot Doejo – Strategic Planner

Margot Doejo emigrated permanently to the U.S. in 2009, and has brought with her over 16 years of experience managing business development and strategic marketing teams for leading advertising agencies, media outlets and technology firms in Venezuela. Her career includes a 3-year span planning and executing BTL campaigns for Microsoft and Intel throughout Latin America.

During the last 4 years she managed a Digital Signage firm developing non-traditional advertising campaigns for companies such as Visa, Kraft, Ford Motors de Venezuela, HBO, Polar, Movistar, etc.

As strategic planner, she is in charge of developing new strategies and optimizing business processes for key clients within MarketLogic.

Margot has a degree in Advertising and Marketing from Nuevas Profesiones and a specialization in Strategic Marketing from the IESA Institute in Venezuela.

She lives in Miami with part of her family.

Lucy Gonzalez – Traffic and Production Manager

Lucy has over 18 years of experience in renowned advertising agencies in Miami, managing their Production and Traffic Departments. She managed projects for local and international accounts such as Sol Meliá, Canon, DHL, Sony, Discovery Cruise Lines, Kissimmee Convention & Visitors Bureau, Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau, DMAI, and FedEx among others. She also managed media planning for Visa Latin America.

As Traffic and Production manager in MarketLogic, she coordinates production operations including in-country execution through our network.

Lucy holds a degree in Business Administration and an Associate Art degree from Miami Dade College.

She currently lives in Miami with her two sons.

Melissa Velez – Art Director

As Art Director for MarketLogic, Melissa is in charge of conceptualizing, creative development and idea execution for our key accounts.

Melissa has 8 years of experience in art direction, photo-shooting productions and campaign conceptualization and execution in print, radio and TV.

Before joining MarketLogic she was Art Director at another important agency in Miami, Marketing Director for a boutique hotel in Miami Beach, and Graphic Designer for several Design Studios in Miami and Fort Lauderdale.

Melissa graduated in Graphic Design and Advertising from the Art Institute in Fort Lauderdale. She was awarded “Best Portfolio” and “Highest Achivement Award”. She has a certificate in Marketing and Communications from the University of Miami.

Resides in Aventura, Florida with her family and thousands of shoes.

Damaris Rosales – Account Executive

Damaris joined our team in 2006. During her tenure at MarketLogic she has moved through various divisions and has learned our business from different angles.

She has 10 years of experience in client services.  Working with others and the challenge of meeting the needs of our clients are amongst the two things she enjoys.  Damaris believes that hard work and dedication always pays off.

Through her experience in the field she has had the opportunity to work for companies such as American Express, HBO, Master Card, Samsung, Sony, Sony Ericsson, Symantec and Warner Channel.

Damaris currently holds a degree in communications and a minor in photography from Florida International University (FIU). She is a member of Ad2Miami, a chapter of the American Advertising Federation.

She currently lives in Miami, the city she was born and raised in. Damaris enjoys photography, dancing, traveling and spending time under the sun.Subir

Alicia Marquez – Graphic Designer

As Graphic Designer in MarketLogic, Alicia is in charge of adptations, technical execution and graphic design for most of our accounts.

Alicia has over 18 years of experience working in Design Studios.

Before joining our team in Miami she was Art Director for a private university in Argentina; Project Leader in Corporate Identity for a major supermarket chain and the Lead Graphic Designer for a newspaper insert running in the Argentinean paper with the most circulation.

Alicia holds a Graphic Design degree from the Universidad de Buenos Aires, where he was also a teacher for two years.

She resides in Homestead, Florida with her husband, pets and orchids.
